Ships' Graveyard Mapping Project

The primary purpose of the Red October Group involved researching, locating, diving and positively identifying all wrecks in the Victorian Ships' Graveyard.

The project ran from June 2000 to June 2007 and successfully found and identified 14 additional shipwrecks in the area bringing the total number of known dive sites to 46. 

The area is now regularly visited by local charter operators operating out of Portsea, Queenscliffe and Torquay.
